Summer Reading at the Vineland Public Library

Just because it's summer doesn't mean you have to stop reading!  Stop by the Vineland Public Library to get your next great read.  Ask the librarians at the Information Desk or in the Children's Department for some great books to read.

Vineland Public School students entering sixth, seventh or eighth grade or high school are required to read one book and complete a project.  Click here to get your summer reading assignment.

The Vineland Public Library owns copies of the books on the Vineland Public School's reading lists.  Please inquire at the Information Desk if you need a book for your assignment.

To accommodate the most students, these books may only be checked out as a 2-week loan and may not be renewed.  Additional copies of some of the titles are available at the Information Desk and the Children's Information Desk, to be used in the library only.

If you have any questions or concerns about your summer reading project, or need to know your Lexile level, you may contact Ms. Nancy Hollenweger, Supervisor of Language Arts at the Vineland Public Schools, at (856) 794-6700 ext. 2328 or email her at nhollenweger@vineland.org.  Ms. Hollenweger will be able available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Looking for something fun to read?  Click here for some great children's and young adult titles.

Debuting Online Registration

Online Registration Now Available For Story Times!

The Vineland Public Library is now offering its patrons an easier way to register for programs going on at their library. Starting in March the library will begin taking sign ups for Baby Time, Toddler Time, and Preschool Story Time via online registration. Patrons will be able to sign up for these programs from the comfort of their own homes regardless of whether the library is open or not.

This is something new for our library and as such there are bugs to work out and improvements to be made. We hope to make online registration available for more programs in the near future.
