Vineland Public Schools Summer Reading

Children and young adults in 6th-12th grade who attend one of the public schools in Vineland have a summer reading assignment that must be completed by Friday, September 14.  The assignments are located on the Vineland Public Schools website and may be accessed here. Scroll halfway the page to find the assignments.

Students entering 6th through 8th grades and students entering College English in high school may pick their book and their assignment.  Students in Advanced College English and Honors English were given their assigned book at the end of the school year.

To help students pick books that the Vineland Public Library owns, we have created lists for students in 6th-12 grades.  This list of books is located here.  However, students are not limited to the books on these lists.  Please see a Children's or Reference staff member for more suggestions.

The Vineland Public Schools has also provided lists that were created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA).  While we may own some of the books on these lists, there may be some titles that we don't own.  Your best bet is to look at the list created by the Vineland Public Library or ask one of our knowledgeable librarians for other suggestions.

For more information, call the Vineland Public Library at (856) 794-4244.
